3. Was Ketiv-Qere applied to YHWH? (Yahweh vs. Yehovah)

Nehemia Gordon claims that the vowels on the name יהוה are NOT the vowels of Adonai but the true, original vowels of the Name יהוה. Is this true?

In video 3, Justin Van Rensburg explains what 'Ketiv Qere' is, how it originated, and why the scribes placed dummy vowels on certain words.

He shows that the Name יהוה was indeed pointed with Adonai's vowels, and explains that the vowels 'Shewa, Cholem, Qamets' are actually the grammatically correct vowels for the reading 'Adonai.'
