Nehemia Gordon claims to have discovered the 'true' and 'original' Hebrew Name of the Creator, namely 'Yehovah.' He claims that this pronunciation was previously a secret for more than 1000 years! ​

The story goes that Nehemia Gordon 'discovered' the 'missing Cholem' vowel on 9/11 2001, and that this 'discovery' revealed the true pronunciation of the Name יהוה after more than a thousand years of it being a secret.

But was this really a discovery? Was the pronunciation Yehovah really a secret for more than 1000 years? Is this new information that we should act on, and change?
